Different from a shared hosting account where the info is backed up by the hosting company, if you use a virtual or a dedicated web server you will need to keep manual backups because this kind of a service isn't supplied by default. As superior as a hosting server may be, there's always a chance that something may go wrong. As an example, you can delete some content by accident or a script-driven application might get damaged after an update. If you have a backup, you will not need to concern yourself with this type of issues because the content can be easily restored. As it may not be very practical to do this all the time on your end, we provide an optional backup service for each of our hosting server packages and we'll store a copy of your content on a separate server to be certain that it is intact no matter what. With the upgrade, you can work on your server without having to worry that you could lose any info due to any reason.

Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers

If you get one of our dedicated web hosting plans and you decide that you need a backup of your content, you can include this service with a few clicks and our system will start keeping copies each week straight away. You could obtain the upgrade alongside the web server or at some point after via your billing Control Panel in case that you don't need backups from the start. The service will grant you fifty gigabytes of disk space on a separate machine and this content can be restored on our end. Even though we test the components and the software before we hand over any new dedicated hosting server, you can never know if some update will not crash, so in the event you have critical info on the server, you'll be better off with this upgrade. Backups can also be found with the Managed Services upgrade, which features many other useful admin tasks that we offer to our customers.
